Amir Sharif

Amir Sharif is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in both founding and engineering roles. Currently, Amir serves as a Software Engineer at Halo since December 2022 and has been the Founder of Binary Hands since September 2021, managing side hustles. Prior to these roles, Amir was a Staff Software Engineer at Facebook from June 2016 to September 2021, where a significant contribution was made to the growth of Facebook Marketplace, reaching over 1 billion users within four years. The journey began with Amir founding RapPad, an online community for hip hop enthusiasts from February 2013 to February 2016, and included positions at companies like MyTime, Vidyard, and The Nielsen Company. Amir holds a degree in Mathematics with a focus on Computational Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate of Mayfield Secondary School, specializing in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts.
