Randy van Ommeren

Randy Van Ommeren is a neurology resident at the University of Toronto, where responsibilities include providing adult neurology care. Current projects as a Ph.D. candidate involve investigating the metabolic characteristics of medulloblastoma, focusing on integrating metabolomics with traditional genomic and epigenomic studies. Randy has also completed neuropathology training to enhance diagnostic skills in neuropathological diseases using advanced techniques. Additionally, Randy serves as a HaloHealth Fellow and is a junior member of the iGan Clinical & Commercial Advisory Board. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuro-Oncology from the University of Toronto, a Doctor of Medicine from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University.
