Amit Paz

Amit Paz has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations. Amit is currently working at Halozyme, Inc. as the Executive Director of Supply Chain, a role they started in 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at Genentech and Roche, where they served as an Associate Director and Head of Business Operations, respectively. Amit also has experience at Tefen USA and Perez Engineers, where they held management positions. Amit began their career in the Israeli Navy, where they worked as an Operations Coordinator.

Amit Paz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000. Amit then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at the University of Maryland from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business between 2009 and 2012.

In terms of certifications, Amit Paz obtained the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ in March 2003. Amit also holds the Certified Professional of Inventory Management (CPIM) certification from the APICS Supply Chain Council, which they obtained in July 2009. Additionally, they have the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from the same institution, earned in December 2011. Most recently, Amit Paz achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2017.
