Chris Fan

Chris Fan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Chris currently holds the position of Director of FP&A at Halozyme, Inc. since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director, Sr. Manager, and Manager of FP&A at the same company from 2019 to 2022.

Before joining Halozyme, Inc., Chris worked at Illumina as a Sr. Analyst from 2016 to 2019. During their time at Illumina, they developed and implemented new Opex forecasting and budgeting processes, launched key marketing events, and led process improvement initiatives.

Prior to Illumina, Chris worked at SunGard Financial Systems as a Finance Manager and Financial Analyst from 2009 to 2015. In this role, they supported diverse international businesses and was responsible for financial reporting, cost monitoring, and streamlining inter-company transactions.

Chris began their career at SAP as a Solutions Manager Assistant in 2007.

Overall, Chris has a proven track record in financial planning and analysis, process improvement, and international business support.

Chris Fan holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, which they completed from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Chris Fan has an active CPA certification, which they obtained from the AICPA in March 2010.
