Elizabeth Valentine has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and research. Elizabeth worked as an Associate Director at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. from December 2018 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Scientist at Coherus BioSciences from May 2015 to December 2018. Elizabeth also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute from July 2009 to May 2015 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at King's College London from February 2006 to December 2008. Elizabeth's career began as a Graduate Student at Columbia University from 1999 to 2005, where they conducted research on the NMR dynamics of the extracellular ligand-binding domain of the AMPA subtype ionotropic glutamate receptor, GluR2. Elizabeth also has experience as a Staff Researcher at UCLA from 1998 to 1999.
Elizabeth Valentine obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry from UC San Diego, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Elizabeth then pursued further education and completed their PhD in Biochemistry at Columbia University, spanning from 1999 to 2005.
