Tyler Krol

Tyler Krol serves as the Director of Quality Assurance at Halozyme, Inc. since March 2022, having previously held the position of Director of Point of Care Quality at BD from June 2021 to March 2022. Prior to these roles, Tyler Krol worked at Illumina from June 2018 to June 2020 as the Head of Site Quality Operations in San Diego and also as Associate Director of Quality Program Management. Tyler Krol’s career includes significant experience at Genentech from May 2012 to June 2018, where roles included Associate Director (ad interim) of Recovery Operations and Operations Manager for Downstream Recovery. Earlier experience includes a range of positions at Merck from March 2002 to May 2012, culminating in senior roles such as Operations Coach and Sr. Manufacturing Supervisor. Tyler Krol earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland between 1998 and 2001.
