Romy Doornebal

Romy Doornebal has extensive experience in youth criminality prevention and intervention, currently serving as a Relatiemanager and Halt-medewerker at Halt (stichting) since July 2015, focusing on both repressive and preventive measures in the Utrecht West region. Previous roles include Policy Advisor at KMN Kind & Co, and Pedagogical Worker at the Raad voor de Kinderbescherming, where responsibilities included consulting on civil and criminal investigations and conducting diagnostic assessments. Romy began working with Halt in various capacities since 2008, gaining experience in youth support and education on juvenile crime. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Forensic Orthopedagogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences and Social Work from universities in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
