Ben McArthur

Ben McArthur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2014, they started as a Director at A+ Handbooks, a company focused on providing revision handbooks. Ben held this role until March 2019.

In 2014, they also began working at Synergine Group Limited, initially as a Summer Student and later as an Intern. From December 2016 to July 2019, they served as a Consultant specializing in strategy and policy. During their time at Synergine, they were involved in various projects related to urban development, strategy development, and data analysis.

In 2020, Ben joined Emirates Team New Zealand as a Machine Learning Researcher, focusing on developing expertise in machine learning techniques.

Most recently, in March 2021, they transitioned to Halter as a Data Scientist. Ben was later promoted to the role of Data Science Tech Lead in July 2021.

Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated skills in data analysis, mathematical modeling, programming, and problem-solving.

Ben McArthur completed their Master of Science degree in Data Science & Machine Learning from UCL in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Engineering Science from The University of Auckland, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Ben's earlier education includes attending Auckland Grammar School from 2008 to 2012, though the specific degree and field of study during that time are unknown.
