Wendy Elliott

Wendy Elliott is an experienced professional in strategic initiatives and government relations, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Government Relations at Halton Region since October 2024. Previously, Wendy held the role of Director of Strategy & Centres of Excellence - Enterprise Data Governance at Metrolinx from December 2020 to October 2024, with a prior title change from Senior Manager in October 2022. Wendy's career includes significant positions such as Lead of Municipal Finance Policy and Analysis at the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Assistant Director of Business Analytics at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and various senior analyst roles within the Ontario Ministry of Finance. Wendy's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University and further education in Data Access and Management and Big Data methods at Toronto Metropolitan University. Additional training includes management courses at Schulich ExecEd.
