Amit Sood

Amit Sood is an Information Technology Supervisor at Halton Regional Police Service since August 2025, bringing extensive experience from the Ontario Medical Association, where roles included Senior Manager of Technical Support, Manager of Service Desk, Senior Lead, and Service Desk Analyst from September 2011 to August 2025. Amit has a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, ensuring efficient problem resolution and service delivery. Previous experience includes serving as an IT Support Technician at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care from January 2009 to September 2011, where responsibilities encompassed providing tier 2 support, managing service level agreements, and training clients. Amit holds a diploma in Computer Engineering Technology from Sheridan College, obtained between 2007 and 2010, and graduated from Applewood Heights Secondary School in 2007.
