Kendra James

Vice President Finance at Hama Hama Company

Kendra James started their work experience in 2001 as a Music Teacher in New Haven Public Schools. Kendra then worked as a Program Administrator for the Yale Urban Teaching Program from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they became a Graduate Student in Forest Ecology and Finance at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Following that, they worked as an Analytics for Natural Resource Management at Yale University / Five Valleys Land Trust / Hama Hama Company from 2012 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been with the Hama Hama Company, where they initially served as the President/CEO before becoming the Vice President of Finance in 2022.

Kendra James began their education at Yale University in the year 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in History and Ecology. Kendra successfully completed their undergraduate studies in the field. Following this, Kendra earned a Teaching Certificate in Music from Yale University in 2004. Their passion for education and music led their to obtain this certification. Later, Kendra went on to pursue a Master's degree in Forest Ecology from Yale University, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Their educational background reflects their diverse interests in history, ecology, music, and forest ecology.
