David Vaughan

David Vaughan serves as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Children's Hospitals Group since July 2016. Concurrently, David is the Executive Director of Quality and Safety at Hamad Medical Corporation and the Director of Leadership and Quality Improvement at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. Additionally, David holds a position within the Directorate of Quality and Clinical Care at the Health Service Executive, specifically at Dr. Stevens Hospital in Dublin. Previously, David worked as a Consultant General and Respiratory Paediatrician at Our Lady of Lourdes and completed fellowships in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital, and Seattle Children's & University of Washington, respectively. David's education includes an Improvement Advisor degree from IHI and a medical degree from University College Dublin.
