Wafa al-Yazeedi

Wafa Al-Yazeedi is an experienced professional currently serving as the Chairperson of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Hamad Medical Corporation since August 2008. Additionally, Wafa has held the position of Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College since 2006 and is an active social activist focused on disability rights in the State of Qatar since 1997. Educationally, Wafa holds an EMBA from HEC Paris (2013-2015), a PhD in Neuroscience from Karolinska Institutet (2006-2015), a degree in Physiotherapy from Karolinska Institutet (2000-2006), and an MD from Arabian Gulf University (1990-1997).
