Mari Lundsveen Flagstad

Mari Lundsveen Flagstad has extensive experience in education, currently serving as Rektor at Hamar kommune since August 2013. Prior to this role, Mari held the position of Rektor at Ringsaker kommune from April 2011 to August 2013 and worked as a Rådgiver at Pedagogisk Psykologisk tjeneste between January 2010 and April 2011. Additional experience includes serving as Praksiskoordinator at Høgskolen i Hedmark from 2006 to 2010, and as a teacher, team leader, and union representative at Furnes ungdomsskole from 2000 to 2006. Mari also held a full-time national level position as Nestleder for Studentenes Landsforbund from 1999 to 2000. Educational qualifications include an ongoing Master’s degree in School Development and Educational Leadership at NTNU, alongside training in emotional coaching and mentoring from Human Academy, as well as further studies in educational leadership and special pedagogy.
