Jana Kapfer

Jana Kapfer is a Renewable Energy & Climate Neutrality Consultant at HAMBURG INSTITUT since May 2021, specializing in climate strategy consulting, greenhouse gas accounting, and climate protection action plans across various sectors. Previously, Jana contributed to the Development & Climate Alliance Support Programme at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, focusing on policy consulting and technical research. Jana's early experience includes a Marketing Student Trainee role at Greenpeace Energy eG, where support was provided for the Sustainability Report, as well as internships at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory, Universität Hamburg, Springer Nature, Tai Tanzania, and Die ZEIT. Jana holds a Master of Arts in International Business and Sustainability from the University of Hamburg, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Publishing Management from HTWK Leipzig.
