Michael Wiedekamp

Michael Wiedekamp has extensive work experience in the hospitality and event industry. Michael is currently the Director Guest Events at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH. Prior to this role, they worked as the Head of Events & Sales at Braugasthaus Schanzenhöfe GmbH Altes Mädchen. Before that, they held various positions at Scandic Hotels, including Head of Group & Convention Sales and Key Account Manager. Michael also worked at Privathotel Lindtner Hamburg, where they served as the Director of Convention Sales, Key Account Manager, and the Deputy Conventions Sales Manager. Additionally, they have worked as a Bankettleiter at KHH Sülberg Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co KG, a Restaurantleiter at Witzigmann & Roncalli Bajazzo, a Veranstaltungsleiter at TST Table Service Team GmbH Verwaltungsdienstleistungen, and a Serviceleiter at Witzigmann Palazzo. Michael started their career as a Betriebsleiterassistent at Rheinterrasse/Stockheim.

Michael Wiedekamp completed their Vordiplom in Betriebswirtschaftslehre at Kiel University from 2001 to 2004. Michael also obtained a degree in Hotelfachmann at Land- und Golfhotel Witt auf Föhr from 2014 to 2015. Prior to this, they completed their Allgemeine Hochschulreife at Städt. Lessinggymnasium in 1999.
