Rick Border, Jr. has extensive experience in education, serving as a substitute teacher in various school districts since 2012, including Vernon Township, Sparta, Franklin Borough, Hamburg, and Sussex-Wantage Regional School Districts, with a focus on history and social studies. In addition to teaching, Rick Border co-leads a youth group and teaches Sunday school for grades 6 to 8 at Vernon United Methodist Church. Volunteer work with the American Red Cross includes participation in the Disaster Action Team and Disaster Assessment Team. Rick Border holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a concentration in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University, earned between 2009 and 2014.
