Stephan Dohm began their work experience as a Research Assistant at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 2004. Stephan then moved on to work as a Port Economist at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH from 2009 to 2010. In 2007, they joined HPC Hamburg Port Consulting GmbH as an Economist, where they worked until 2012. Subsequently, they transitioned to HHLA Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG, starting as a Project Manager Corporate Development in 2012 and progressing to roles including Head of Strategic Projects and Director Finance & Development for HHLA International GmbH.
Stephan Dohm completed their Diploma in Business Administration at the University of Münster in 2004. Stephan then pursued a Doctor's Degree in International Economics at the same university from 2004 to 2007. In 2006, they also studied International Economics at Peking University. Additionally, in 2001-2002, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to study Economics.
