Karl Philip Prinzhorn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business development, claim recovery automation, and sustainable forestry. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at Hamburger Recycling- Prinzhorn Group since August 2022, Karl is focused on advancing waste management and recycling solutions. As Co-Founder and CEO of Digital Claim from January 2015 to July 2022, Karl led efforts to automate claim recovery for insurance providers using machine learning technology. Prior to that, Karl was the Managing Partner at Forest Management Prinzhorn & Co, overseeing a commercial forest and co-founding a sustainable furniture brand. Karl's earlier roles include Associate at McKinsey & Company in financial services and insurance, and Analyst at Erste Group Bank AG. Educational credentials include an MBA in General Management/Finance from Columbia Business School and a combined BA & MA in Sociology/Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Focus on secondary raw materials: Our ongoing investments in collection, separation and treatment of recycling materials ensure the supply of our own plants and external industries with high quality secondary raw materials and commodities. We focus on new projects (green field) as well as acquisition and integration of existing companies (brown field) into our divisional structures. The expansion of disposal services for retail and wholesale trade, industry and communities is our main aspiration.
