Gavin Kain

Gavin Kain is a highly experienced architect and urban designer with a comprehensive background in leading design initiatives across various prestigious firms. Currently serving as the Director and Cross-Portfolio Design Lead at Hames Sharley since January 2022, Gavin Kain previously held significant roles, including Principal at WARREN AND MAHONEY and Director at Furlong and Kain. With a career that began in 1998, Gavin Kain has been recognized as a design leader within award-winning architecture practices and has guided global and convention sector strategies at Woods Bagot. Additionally, Gavin Kain has engaged in academia, contributing as a tutor and studio instructor at multiple universities, including the University of Queensland and the University of British Columbia. Gavin Kain earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of South Australia between 1991 and 1995.
