Fiona Sutton

Fiona Sutton has extensive work experience in various roles related to water services and operations. Fiona is currently serving as the Head of Operations & Process (three waters) at Hamilton City Council since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Water Services Manager at Co-Lab from December 2021 to October 2022. Fiona also held the role of Water Services Manager at Waikato Local Authority Shared Services from November 2020 to February 2022. Earlier in their career, Fiona served as the Shared Services Manager at Hamilton City Council from August 2014 to November 2020, and as the Animal Education and Control Manager from January 2010 to August 2014.

Fiona Sutton obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from The University of Waikato, completing their studies between 1999 and 2004. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at The University of Waikato.
