Martin Parkes

Martin Parkes is an experienced urban mobility professional with a strong background in transportation management and sustainable practices. Currently serving as Urban Mobility Manager and Transport & Urban Mobility Programme Delivery Lead at Hamilton City Council since June 2020, Martin has previously consulted as a Transportation Specialist. With extensive experience at Tauranga City Council from June 2013 to March 2020, Martin held several leadership roles, including Manager of Network Safety & Sustainability and Acting General Manager of Infrastructure. Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Teesside University, completed between 1982 and 1986.
