Tessa Chefalo

Tessa Chefalo currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Students for Student Engagement and Director of Orientation and First-Year Programs at Hamilton College since July 2014. Prior experience includes a Graduate Assistant position at Syracuse University, where Tessa chaired the Women’s Leadership Initiative and taught an incoming first-year seminar. Additional experience encompasses internships in disability services and admissions at Onondaga Community College and SUNY Upstate Medical University, respectively. Tessa also worked as a Lead Teacher at Little Apples, as well as in various roles at Bard College, including Assistant Director of Student Activities and the Campus Center. Tessa holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Syracuse University and a BA in English from SUNY Geneseo.
