Gregory Bagby

Coordinator Of Instructional Technology / Ed. Tech Coach at Hamilton County Department of Education

Gregory Bagby currently serves as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist on contract with Apple since April 2024 and has been the Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Educational Technology Coach for the Hamilton County Department of Education since May 2008. Additionally, Gregory holds the position of Principal at Barger Academy of Fine Arts, focusing on arts-based learning excellence. An Adjunct Professor at Lee University since August 2021, Gregory is also a Professional Learning Specialist with the Northwest Council for Computer Education since May 2019. Previously, teaching roles were held at Covenant College from August 2006 to May 2011 and as a Choir Director at New City Fellowship from 2001 to 2006. Gregory began a teaching career with the Hamilton County Department of Education from 1993 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational/Instructional Technology expected in June 2024 from Concordia University Chicago, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Music Education from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
