Nikki Russell, Ed.S., currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Red Bank Elementary School within the Hamilton County Department of Education since August 2013. Previous roles include Innovation Specialist at Brown Academy, K-5 STEM Lab Facilitator at Orchard Knob Elementary School, and elementary school teacher at Barger Academy of Fine Arts. Nikki has also taken on adjunct professor positions at Chattanooga State Community College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and has co-founded Gig City Girls, an initiative promoting STEM education for girls. Additional experience includes leading curriculum development and training at Tech Goes Home Chattanooga and event consulting at The Clay Pot. Nikki holds an Educational Specialist Degree and a Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership and Administration from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
