Cindy Combs has extensive experience in law enforcement, having served over 32 years at the Cincinnati Police Department, ultimately achieving the rank of Assistant Chief, where responsibilities included overseeing major investigations, managing a significant budget, and implementing technological advancements. Currently, Combs functions as a Consultant/Assessor for the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police Advisory Services and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for E B Jacobs, focusing on promotional test development. Additionally, Combs held the position of Past President on the Executive Board of the Hamilton County Police Association and taught at the University of Louisville's Southern Police Institute. Combs co-owns MC2 Consulting, LLC, leveraging over 30 years of law enforcement expertise to assist agencies in various aspects such as career coaching and policy development. Combs holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.
