Courtney Barry has a strong background in marketing and brand management. Courtney is currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Hamilton Island since November 2021. Prior to this, Courtney held various roles at Tourism Australia, starting as a Partnership Marketing Executive in January 2012. Courtney then progressed to become the Global Manager of Campaigns from May 2015 to February 2019, and later served as the Global Brand Manager from January 2019 to January 2021. Their last position at Tourism Australia was the Head of Brand from January 2021 to November 2021. Before joining Tourism Australia, Courtney worked as a Senior Business Manager at DDB Sydney from August 2010 to December 2011. Courtney also worked as a Senior Account Manager at M&C Saatchi from July 2006 to July 2010.
Courtney Barry attended the University of Sydney from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics with a specialization in Marketing.
