Mitchell Murphy

Mitchell Murphy is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Hamilton Island, a premier luxury destination in the Great Barrier Reef. They previously served as the General Manager at Hunter's Hill Council from 2022 to 2025, and held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Longreach Regional Council from 2019 to 2022. Prior to these roles, Mitchell was the Director of Commercial and Marketing at Gadens from 2016 to 2019 and has been an advisor for Harvard Business Review since 2012. Mitchell is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at RMIT University and has completed a Public Leadership Credential at Harvard Kennedy School, alongside other prestigious courses.
