John Brecker

John is a Managing Director in Hamilton Lane’s Business Development Group, where he is responsible for leading the firm’s business development activities in North and South America as well as the Midwest U.S.

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2012, John was a Director and Principal with the U.S. and Canada Institutional team of Turner Investments. Previously, he was a Financial Advisor with Virginia Asset Management & Waddell & Reed, where he worked with high net worth families and small businesses.

John received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Richmond. He is a Chartered Alternatives Investment Analyst (CAIA).
