Rae Becerra

Rae Becerra, CISSP, serves as the Vice President Senior Security Engineer at Hamilton Lane, overseeing the design and management of the company's information security program while leveraging expertise in security architecture. As a co-founder of CyberDEI, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity, Rae fosters an inclusive community for learning. Previous experience includes roles at Point32Health as an Information Security Analyst, where identity and access management were enhanced, and at the Museum of Science as a Senior Security Network Engineer, improving network performance and security. Rae's extensive career also includes positions at Natick Public Schools, Stax Inc., the U.S. Department of State, and various roles at Harvard University, underscoring a solid foundation in IT and security operations. Rae holds a Master of Science in Information Assurance with a focus on Cybersecurity from Regis University, along with other degrees in Computer Systems Networking and General Studies.
