Stefan Kunz has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Stefan started their career in 1996 as a Field Service Engineer at ESEC SA, where they provided service and installation support for die bonding machines. Stefan then joined Custom Silicon Configuration Services NV as a Senior Equipment Engineer in 1998. In 2000, they became the Die Bonder Manager at ESEC KK. In 2002, Stefan joined Bruker BioSpin and held positions as an NMR System Engineer and later as an Installation Coordinator for the Middle East. Currently, they are working at Hamilton Medical as a Technical Support Engineer and Complaints Manager, a position they have held since 2016.

Stefan Kunz earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics from HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued Nachdiplom studies in Project Management at TSU Technikerschule Uster. Additionally, Stefan Kunz studied Japanology at the University of Zurich from 2008 to 2010, although they did not obtain a specific degree in this field.
