Carly Bedford

Carly Bedford is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience in various roles within the Hamilton Public Library and St. Catharines Public Library. Currently serving as System Support Manager, Community Youth Librarian, and Community Librarian at Hamilton Public Library since July 2019, Carly has a demonstrated history of managing library systems and engaging with community youth. Prior experience includes serving as a Librarian at St. Catharines Public Library and multiple roles at Hamilton Public Library from 2007 to 2019, including Archives Technician and Library Technician. Carly's expertise is further supported by a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Additional roles in archival settings and education, including positions at Dundas Museum and Archives and Canada's National Ballet School, highlight a diverse skill set in library sciences, archival management, and community engagement.
