Manager, Program Development at Hamilton Public Library

Erica Conly is an experienced library management professional with a robust background in program development and staff leadership. Currently serving as the Manager of Adult Program Development at Hamilton Public Library since April 2018, Erica leads the design and delivery of adult and newcomer programming, oversees the Newcomer Learning Centre, and has effectively transitioned programs online during the COVID pandemic. Previously, Erica managed the Central Library and Information Services Department, where responsibilities included staff management, budget oversight, and involvement in various system-wide initiatives. Erica’s career also includes significant roles in Mississauga and Brampton Library, focusing on program development, training, and community engagement, supported by a Master’s degree in Information Studies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology from the University of Regina.
