Scott Gardner

Scott Gardner is an accomplished staff photographer with over three decades of experience at The Hamilton Spectator, where responsibilities have included daily assignments, multimedia production, and leadership roles as Photo Assignment Editor and Visuals Editor, overseeing both the photography and art departments. Additionally, Scott has contributed to the education sector as a part-time instructor at Mohawk College, teaching video capture techniques. Freelance work includes significant coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics for The Canadian Press. Scott holds a diploma in Photojournalism from Loyalist College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Waterloo.
