Steven Ward

Steven Ward possesses extensive experience in emergency medical services and healthcare education. Currently serving as Medical Direction Staff for Hamilton Township Fire Dept., Deerfield Township Fire Department, and Forest Park Fire Department, Steven has been involved in these roles since 2013 and 2016. Serving as an EM/EMS Physician Assistant at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine since 2012, Steven has also held a Physician Assistant position at DispatchHealth until the Cincinnati market closure in March 2024. Steven's previous experience includes principal faculty for the Physician Assistant Program at Mount St. Joseph University and various roles at Mecklenburg EMS Agency and North Mecklenburg Rescue Squad, highlighting a strong background in paramedicine and education. Steven holds a Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and a Master of Health Science from Western Carolina University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Biology from Guilford College.
