Allen Ngo

Allen Ngo has been working in the finance and accounting industry since 2012. In that time, they have held various roles with different companies. In 2012, they began working as a Team Member at Bunnings. Allen then moved into a Management Accountant role, where they prepared daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly reports for the leadership team, created tailored and comprehensive reports/dashboards for the leadership team and other stakeholders, and answered questions using numbers and data. Allen also held an Accountant - Store Development role, where they liaised with key stakeholders to ensure financial success of projects, reported on and analysed the financial status of projects, and prepared month-end reporting of projects and accounting journals. Additionally, they held a Project Administrator - Store Development role, where they processed invoices and answered finance related project queries, liaised with suppliers and project managers for invoicing related issues, and single-handedly streamlined the invoice processing system. In 2018, they moved to CanYa, where they held a Company Accountant role. In this role, they identified and executed cost saving strategies, provided the founders and directors reports on the financial position of their small business, and filed the quarterly BAS and end of financial year reports. In 2019, they began working for Backpacker Deals Limited and Prismatik, both as a Company Accountant. In these roles, they created financial reports to provide the CEO/Managing Director financial insight for decision making, created and maintained cashflow/budget/forecast models, and created and implemented financial processes. Finally, they are currently working as a Financial Controller and Management Accountant at HammerTech, a cloud-based, collaborative performance & productivity platform, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Allen Ngo attended the University of Melbourne from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. Allen then attended Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.
