Bob Ellis, P.Eng.

Bob Ellis, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Bob is currently working as a Senior Application Engineer at Hammond Power Solutions since 2021. Previously, Bob worked at Siemens as a Project Manager from 2018 to 2020, where they successfully managed a $100M Canadian scope on a cross-border energy project. Prior to that, they worked at Toromont Cat as an Application Engineer from 2016 to 2018, where they created detailed proposals for prime power and standby generators. Bob also has extensive experience at Rockwell Automation, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager from 2003 to 2016, managing multiple concurrent customer projects. Bob also served as a Team Leader/Project Manager from 1997 to 2003, leading and mentoring a cross-functional team. Throughout their career, Bob has demonstrated strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to successfully handle large and high-profile projects.

Bob Ellis, P.Eng., obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Science from the University of Waterloo, where they attended from 1979 to 1984. In addition, they hold certifications as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario and as a Senior Member from the IEEE.
