Richard A. Schuman

Richard A. Schuman has a long and varied career in the retail and merchant services industries. Richard A. started their career in 1963 as Vice President of Operations for Schuman Drug Company and Dynamic Discount Drugs in Canton Ohio. After nine years, they moved to Atlanta, GA to become President of Reed Discount Drugs. During this six-year period, they grew the company from nine to forty stores. In 1976, they joined People Drugstores Inc. as Group President and Senior VP Operations. During this six-year period, they were part of the executive team responsible for marketing, new business, operations, new store development and developing key product offerings. In 1985, they became Chairman of Area Developer Services Inc. and owned the MD, VA, and Washington, DC metro territory for the MotoPhoto franchise. In 2003, they joined Executive Office Suite/Your Office USA in Orlando, Florida as Chairman & Board of Directors. In 2007, they became a Merchant Services Consultant, representing leading Merchant Services providers. In this role, they worked with companies to implement complete portfolio of payment processing services including point-of-sale integration, credit card processing, check processing, mobile services and gift and loyalty programs. Finally, in 2008, they became Director of Hammonds Candies Since 1920, LLC.

Richard A. Schuman attended The Ohio State University from 1955 to 1957, and then Ohio Northern University from 1957 to 1960, where they earned a BS in Pharmacy.
