Caitlin Orsborne

Caitlin Orsborne, Ed.S., currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Hampton City Schools since August 2023. Prior to this role, Caitlin spent 15 years at Poquoson City Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher, focusing on early childhood special education for ages 2-5 from 2018 to 2023, and K-2 special education from 2008 to 2018. During this time, Caitlin also held the positions of Lead Teacher from 2012 to 2023 and Coach for the Great Computer Challenge graphics arts team from 2013 to 2018, while mentoring new special education teachers. Caitlin's career began at Hampton City Schools, where involvement included teaching grades 2 and 3, and serving as the Yearbook Committee Advisor and member of the Accelerated Reading Committee. Educational qualifications include an EdS in School Leadership/Administration from Old Dominion University, a Master's Degree in Special Education Research from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
