Elizabeth G. has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hampton Roads Community Health Center since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Executive Consultant at Lionheart HR, LLC starting in December 2021. From April 2021 to May 2023, they worked at HR Anew as an EEO Investigator & Human Resource Consultant. Elizabeth previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at the City of Portsmouth, Virginia from November 2015 to December 2020. Before that, they worked as the Assistant Director Human Resources at the City of Newport News from July 2007 to October 2015 and as the Assistant Director Human Resource Management at the City of Portsmouth, Virginia from May 1999 to June 2007. Elizabeth began their career as a Corporate Benefits Manager at AMSEC from October 1998 to May 1999.

Elizabeth G. began their education in 1997, attending Averett University, where they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration until 1999. Following this, they enrolled at Walden University in 2007 and is currently a PhD Candidate in Organizational Psychology, a program they have been involved in until 2017. Alongside their academic pursuits, Elizabeth has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2022, they received a Professional Coach Certification from the 3D Coaching Academy by CoachWhizz. Prior to that, in 2021, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute, as well as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM. In 2021, they also acquired a Certified Federal EEO Investigator/MD 110 certification from AMEDIATE LLC.
