Laura Kirkwood, PE, has over a decade of experience in the engineering and infrastructure sectors, currently serving as the Director of Design & Construction for South Shore at HRSD since September 2010. In this role, Laura manages design and construction services to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely infrastructure. Previously, Laura contributed as a Data Analyst, focusing on data analysis to support HRSD's Regional Hydraulic Model and operations. Prior to HRSD, Laura worked at Lafarge Cement from October 2006 to November 2009 as a Technical Service Engineer and Process/Quality Engineer, where expertise in cementitious products and equipment optimization was provided. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
