Ted Denny, PE, is a seasoned project manager at HRSD since June 2020, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at HDR from June 2012 to May 2020, where responsibilities included water/wastewater engineering, construction coordination, and inspection. Denny’s expertise encompasses the review and verification of construction schedules, as well as preparation of cost estimates and specifications. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both obtained from Old Dominion University between 2009 and 2015.

Welcome. Since HRSD's inception, there has been one overriding mission -- to protect public health and the waters of Hampton Roads by treating wastewater effectively. HRSD returns treated effluent to nature in a way that will continue to nurture our water's delicate ecosystems. HRSD's workforce of scientists, engineers, water quality professionals and other staff know they must be sensitive to the needs of people and also be sensitive to the plants and animals who rely on our ability to protect their habitats.
