Shane Kelly

Shane Kelly possesses extensive experience in security and emergency preparedness, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Security and Emergency Preparedness at Hampton Roads Transit since September 2019. Prior to this role, Shane held various positions including Manager and Security Specialist within the same department. From August 2011 to March 2022, Shane worked as the Parking/Key & Card Access Coordinator in the Department of Public Safety at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Additionally, Shane served in the US Navy Reserve from December 2010 to March 2022, reaching the position of Leading Petty Officer at the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center. Educationally, Shane earned a Master of Arts in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from American Military University and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
