Peter Deeb is the founder of Hampton Securities, a legacy Canadian private equity firm founded in 1996

Peter Deeb’s experience as an investor has spanned many sectors, including Financial Services, Shipping, Energy Exploration, Real Estate and Hospitality. Using his experience as a proprietary investor, Peter created Hampton Securities to provide clients with a different perspective on investing. Hampton Securities now has offices in Toronto, Palm Beach and the UAE.

During his role as Chairman of the Ontario District Counsel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC, now CIRO), and as Chairman of the National Advisory Committee, Peter helped to encourage a proactive regulatory framework for Canadian investors. In 2019, Peter was appointed as Chairman of the Board for the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation (OLG) by Premier Doug Ford where he successfully lead a cost reduction program saving the Province of Ontario nearly $200 million.

Peter’s extensive philanthropic activities include foundational contributions to the Four Seasons Centre for the Arts in Toronto and providing support for the Canadian Opera Company and their Ensemble Studio Program for young artists. He’s a past chair of Opera Mississauga and has also supported the National Ballet of Canada, the Royal Ontario Museum and Opera Atelier.
