Donovan J. Rose

Donovan J. Rose has had an extensive career in the sports industry. Donovan J. started as a professional football player for the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and Canadian Football League teams. After retiring from football, Rose worked as the Executive Director for Youth Mentoring at Super Leaders. Donovan J. then joined Hampton University, where they held various roles including Defensive Back, Defensive Coordinator, Head Football Coach, and Executive Director of JET Corps. Rose achieved significant success during this time, with multiple conference championships and playoff appearances. Donovan J. also produced numerous professional athletes in the NFL and CFL. Rose later served as the Live Broadcasting and Commentating for Legends of Sports and the View from HU. Currently, they work at Hampton University as the Assistant Athletic Director of Development for Hampton Nation, where they focus on building support and engagement with alumni and fans. Additionally, Rose serves as the Director of Operations, overseeing the management of sports competitions and event needs for the Athletics Department.

Donovan J. Rose obtained a degree in Business Management from Hampton University between 1975 and 1979.
