Nader al-Naji

Nader Al-Naji is a prominent entrepreneur and technologist, recognized for founding DeSo Blockchain in January 2019, a project supported by major investors such as Sequoia, a16z, and Social Capital, which has amassed over 1.5 million accounts and generated over $30 million for creators. Prior to DeSo, Nader served as Founder and CEO of Basis from July 2017 to January 2019, successfully raising over $133 million from top-tier investors and building a skilled team. Nader's experience also includes roles as a Software Engineer at Google from October 2014 to June 2017 and as a Quantitative Software Engineer at The D. E. Shaw Group. Nader began academic pursuits at Princeton University from 2010 to 2013 after graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in 2010.
