Stephanie Palacios

Stephanie Palacios, LCSW, is a dedicated community counselor at HANA Center since March 2023, with previous experience as a school-based counselor at Enlace Chicago from November 2020 to January 2023, where responsibilities included conducting psychosocial assessments and providing individual counseling for youth. Prior to that, Stephanie worked as a group leader at Northwestern Settlement, directing after-school activities and implementing enrichment curricula for K-8 students. Additional roles include serving as a school-based counselor intern at Enlace Chicago and camp counselor at McCormick Tribune YMCA, where engagement and positive reinforcement strategies were key. Stephanie's internship at Casa Central involved case documentation and co-facilitating a bilingual Parent Education Program. Stephanie holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Dominican University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University, alongside an Associate of Arts from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College.
