Alvin Luk serves as Global Strategy Advisor and Board Member at HanchorBio Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in immuno-oncology. In addition to leading global clinical strategies and overseeing regulatory submissions for innovative therapies, Alvin holds the position of Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board at Zhongmou Therapeutics, guiding advancements in gene therapy and optogenetics. With over 32 years in biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, Alvin has an extensive track record in drug development, including >250 global regulatory submissions and 22 approved products. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer at Neurophth Therapeutics, and leadership positions at Spark Therapeutics and Biogen Idec where significant contributions to gene therapies and hemophilia treatments were made. Alvin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of California, San Francisco.
