Adam Giles

Interim CEO, Hancock Agriculture at Hancock Prospecting

Adam Giles is the 10th Chief Minister of the Northern Territory having served as Chief between 2013-2016.

During Adams parliamentary career Adam held many portfolios including Treasury, Economic Development and Northern Australia, and oversaw a $6B budget.

Since leaving parliament Adam has held senior corporate roles and currently sits as Chairman and Independent director on the boards of several listed and unlisted companies across the mining and mining services industries.

In 2017 Adam was engaged as General Manager Agriculture for Hancock Prospecting and was Alternate Director on S Kidman & Co cattle company. Adam continued his engagement with Hancock Prospecting albeit in a different role.

As a result of this engagement Adam has toured and inspected many of their Hancock Agriculture and S Kidman & Co properties with the portfolio.

Adam is a farmer himself, farming Angus cattle, first cross ewes and ultra fine Merinos in western Victoria and understands forestry and carbon farming.

The position of CEO Hancock Agriculture and S Kidman & Co will be filled by Adam while a thorough recruitment process to identify a suitable replacement is undertaken.
