Faddy Sahloul is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and humanitarian efforts. As the Founder and CEO of Hand in Hand for Aid and Development since July 2011, Sahloul has played a pivotal role in providing humanitarian aid and development support in Syria amidst ongoing crises, coordinating a workforce of 1,100 staff members. Previously, as Managing Director of Finest Fresh Produce Ltd. from 2009 to 2011, Sahloul focused on establishing commercial operations and implementing health and safety protocols. Prior experience includes serving as Production Director at Start Fresh Ltd. from 1992 to 2009, overseeing production management for a diverse range of clients. Sahloul holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Postgraduate Diploma and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management from Nottingham Trent University, a Bachelor's degree in Economic & Business Administration from Aleppo University, and a National Certificate in Business and Finance from Clarendon College.

Hand in Hand for Aid and Development - HiHFAD - (previously Hand in Hand for Syria) is a UK-registered charity that has been at the forefront of providing humanitarian aid in Syria since the beginning of the conflict in 2011. Established by a group of British-Syrians looking for ways to help Syria, the charity has grown to become one of the leading humanitarian actors serving Syrian communities in Syria and neighbouring countries. Today, Hand in Hand for Aid and Development employs more than 700 members of staff, including over 700 members on the ground in Syria. We have two operational offices in Turkey, as well as an international presence in London and Birmingham.
